After a long season on the diamond, both STC Softball and Baseball have concluded their 2023 campaigns.

Under new head coach Jerrod Bridgewater the baseball team achieved a record of 4-27 with two wins over WaMac Conference schools.

In their first and only playoff game the Trojans lost 11-1 at Marion to end their season. With only two graduating seniors the baseball team looks improve and return stronger next season

STC Softball under coach Lon Wilkerson, struggled to find their footing in an extremely competitive schedule, with a record of 0-31. Their most competitive game came early in the season with a 7-5 loss to Aplington-Parkersburg on June 3.

The softball team closed the season in a 10-0 playoff loss to Clear Creek Amana.

Coming into the year after not fielding a varsity team in the prior season proved to be a struggle for the team. 2 of the 12 player team are graduating seniors, with pitcher Sammie Schneider leaving a hole in the Trojans offense.

With successful youth programs this season the Trojans look for reinforcements in the seasons to come.
