South Tama Archery Club will have three archers competing at the National Archery Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky from May 11-13.

The three area qualifiers showcase the wide range of age involved in archery. High schooler Tim Chandonia, middle schooler Ava Boldt, and Connor Bradley, an elementary student, all qualified for the event.

All three archers qualified by placing top 10 at the state tournament in March. This tournament is put on by the National Archery In School Program.

The South Tama Archery Club has been nothing short of popular this year, seeing 76 participants ranging from grades 4-12. This many participants calls for a large, 15 person coaching staff, led by Head Coach Garrett Bradley.

Looking towards Nationals, Chandonia is expected to perform at a high level. Chandonia scored a perfect 300 earlier in the year and remained consistent with high scores and placings.

Best of luck to these three National qualifiers!
