South Tama boys bounced by Beckman

In WaMaC East vs. West matchup, the STC Trojans hosted Beckman Catholic on Friday, Dec. 3.

The Trailblazers blew out South Tama by a score of 70-28 and are now 2-0 on the season.

Junior Padraig Gallagher was the leading scorer on the night, putting in 26 points along with 14 boards for a double-double.

Also in double figures for Beckman was Logan Goedken who scored 18.

On South Tama’s end, no player scored more than eight points on a night where the Trailblazers forced 20 steals and kept STC to just 25 percent shooting.

Leading scorers for the Trojans were Kendall Balderas with eight and Lance Davenport with seven.

South Tama experienced a similar outcome against the Mount Vernon Mustangs on Tuesday night, dropping a road contest by a score of 68-27.

Leading scorer for the Trojans was Balderas who put in seven points.

Next week South Tama will host CP-U on Tuesday and travel to Maquoketa on Friday.
