South Tama hosted their annual dual tournament on Saturday. In attendance were Des Moines East, Regina Catholic, Solon, Vinton-Shellsburg, Wahlert Catholic, Independence and Omaha Burke.

Omaha Burke took first place followed by Independence in 2nd, Solon in 3rd, Des Moines East in 4th, South Tama in 5th, Wahlert in 6th, Vinton-Shellsburg in 7th and Regina in 8th.

In round one Independence defeated South Tama 62-15, Omaha Burke defeated Wahlert 64-12, Des Moines East defeated Vinton-Shellsburg 54-27 and Solon defeated Regina 46-18.

In round two Independence defeated Wahlert 60-17, Omaha Burke defeated South Tama County 51-29, Des Moines East defeated Regina, Iowa City 54-27 and Solon defeated Vinton-Shellsburg 59-12.

In round three Omaha Burke defeated Independence 46-33, South Tama County defeated Wahlert 47-21, Solon defeated Des Moines East 60-18, Vinton-Shellsburg defeated Regina, Iowa City 42-12.

In round four Omaha Burke defeated Des Moines East 60-24, Independence defeated Solon 48-27, South Tama County defeated Regina, Iowa City 48-12 and Wahlert defeated Vinton-Shellsburg 35-33.

In round five Omaha Burke defeated Solon 48-30, Independence defeated Des Moines East 68-9, South Tama County defeated Vinton-Shellsburg 52-21 and Wahlert defeated Regina, Iowa City 48-21.

The Trojans will be on the road Thursday evening where they will travel to Benton to face Independence again and Benton. They will also travel to the Bill Van Horn Invite in Pella on Saturday.
