South Tama volleyball travelled to Independence to take on the conference leading Mustangs on Tuesday, October 1.

Independence has just one conference loss to Clear Creek-Amana while the Trojans have yet to secure a conference victory. A win wasn’t in the cards for STC on Tuesday as they fell in three quick sets to the Mustangs. Final scores were 25-15, 25-16 and 25-14. It was a tough night for the Trojans. Kortney Babinat was 7-18 in kills, Morgan Haughey led in serves going 10-10, Laurel Upah and Lauren Veit each had 8 assists, Morgan Woosley had four digs.
