Advancing to round two of the Class 3A regional playoffs and honoring eight STC seniors had the Trojans in a celebratory mood on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Trojans, who are 11-7 on the season, hosted the 3-16 Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (EBF) Rockets for round one of the girls Class 3A playoffs.

The Trojans dominated the night jumping out to a 33-16 lead by halftime and winning the game by nearly 30 points, 64-30.

STC’s Zoee Buffalo celebrated Senior Night in style with a team high 16 points. The performance was also a season high for the senior. Jessica Musgrave followed with 14 points and led the Trojans with 11 rebounds. Madison Rohach finished with 8 points and 10 rebounds.

Following the game, 8 seniors and their families were honored including Jaelin Berger, Jessica Musgrave, Taylor Ray, Madison Rohach, Queta Wanatee-Diego, Zoee Buffalo and manager Abby Buffalo.

The Trojans will move on to play Centerville (11-8) tonight, Wednesday, February 13 at Pella Christian High School. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
