The STC Volleyball team gathered for their annual banquet on Sunday, Nov. 4 in the STC High School gym.
STC head varsity coach Amy Dolash celebrated her biggest group of seniors of her varsity coaching career. This is a group that she has seen all the way through the program from 9th through 12th grade. There were eight seniors on this years varsity roster including: Cora Van De Walle, Azra Papakee, Katie Campbell, Mackenzie Beyers, Abby Morgan, Stacey Slaven, Madison Rohach and Jaelin Berger. They will be tough shoes to fill next year.
The team definitely had some challenges this season which included two season ending injuries for two in the varsity lineup.
The Trojans finished their 2018 season 12-30. Some highlights for the Trojans included a really strong Regional game against Williamsburg. The Trojans forced five sets before the fell to the Raiders. STC also got a win over Pella at a tournament. Pella has been a multi-year state qualifier in recent years.
