What does it mean for you to be a captain: When I think of the word captain I think of a person that works hard, does the right thing on and off the court, and someone that sets a good example for everyone. This is what I hope to embody this season.

Favorite athlete: Misty May Treanor

What did you work on during the off season: Starting in June we had open gyms where we worked on all volleyball skills. I also worked out by myself and lifted with my teammates.

What does it mean to play for the school: For me playing for the school means representing South Tama well and making our community and school proud.

What do you listen to before a game: Before a game, I listen to whatever our team is playing in the locker room. We bring a speaker and jam before our game. We also sing “Hey Baby” right before we run out.
