Don’t mess with vets.

It’s not so much that he gropes women and had affairs with his next wife while married to his old one.

It’s not so much that he is charged under RICO with racketeering for bilking people out of millions with the fake Trump University – his trial is pending.

It’s not so much that he stiffs his employees, buys cheap steel from China, hires illegal immigrants, and makes his products abroad.

It’s not so much that he doesn’t know the Constitution when he vows to defend the 12th article when there is no 12th article.

It’s not so much his business failures like Trump Airlines and Trump Vodka.

It’s not so much that he admires our communist enemy Putin, calling him an effective leader. (Putin who jails the press and kills opponents when he feels it’s necessary).

It’s not even that his economic plan is more trickle-down economics that has increased his and other billionaires’ wealth 28% and decreased ours 4%.

No, those are not deal breakers. The deal breaker is veterans. I cannot support any candidate who dishonors our vets. Trump tried to claim his time in military school was military service – a disgrace to those who actually served. He has no respect for POW’s because they were dumb and got caught. (John McCain spent 5 years being tortured while Trump’s “sacrifice” was building “great structures.”)

And then there is the Trump Tower event. Homeless vets were on the sidewalk outside the Trump Tower. What was Trump’s concern? Perhaps that these vets were victims of the battles they fought? Perhaps these vets were deserted by the country they served? No. His concern – he called the police and had those veterans forcibly removed because they ruined the image of his building.

The acid test for any candidate is the way they treat veterans because our veterans have given us this country with their sacrifice. Don’t ever, ever, ever mess with vets, Donald.
