Fisher, the principled choice for District 72

People often get caught up in the flashy, big picture of presidential elections, but we must also pay close attention to our government at the state and local levels.

The United States is in desperate need of principled, honest leadership which can be achieved by electing representatives that work for the people. District 72 is represented by a man dedicated to serving his constituents and to the principles that he has been elected on. Rep. Dean Fisher embodies exactly what a public servant should strive to be, and gives a real voice to the people of Black Hawk, Marshall, and Tama counties.

From standing with the Constitution and the rights of the people to fighting for what is best for the cities and townships of District 72, I feel extremely fortunate to have Dean as my state representative. He works hard to implement common sense measures into our laws and does so in a humble way. Dean is a true steward of Iowa taxpayer dollars and even donates his excess legislative funds to the volunteer fire departments in the district because in his words, “Well, it is just the right thing to do.”

I know that our district is well represented with Dean Fisher in the Iowa Legislature. He is a true public servant to our great state and I am looking forward to voting to reelect Dean Fisher on November 8.
