Letter to the Editor:

Dear Constituents of the 36th Senate District:

We, as the family of the late Maralyn Hotchkiss, are writing to ask for your support in memory of Maralyn to re-elect Senator Steve Sodders. Maralyn was a shining example of what it meant to be a mother, grandmother, friend and confidant. She always selflessly gave to others and causes that she believed in and could develop relationships that lasted a lifetime.

With all her amazing attributes, she was a long-time Democratic volunteer and supporter where she came to know Senator Sodders. Over the years, we saw Grandma Maralyn and Steve work together not only in that elected official capacity, but they were genuinely great friends that both wanted the best for our communities.

We have been able to see Steve work in his district and beyond to problem solve individual issues at the hands of his constituents.

Through the years, we have been privileged to have Steve represent our area and tirelessly advocate for his constituents in that same selfless manner of our Mother and Grandmother. On Tuesday, November 8th, vote Steve Sodders for Senate.
