Dear Editor,

I am not a Democrat or a Republican. I believe our choices for president insults our intelligence as Americans. There is one person who I strongly support and I would like to share my letter to him:

Dear Steve Sodders~ Thank-you for helping me in getting a bill passed to change the law so that if you are married to someone who physically abuses you and they are sent to prison because of the abuse, the victim does not have to pay for their share of the divorce. That is just WRONG.

You were honest and kept me informed of what was going on at the State House. While Mr. Dean Fisher told me “it was too late to do anything.”

I Thank-you for your hard work and honesty. You have my vote. We need more honest people like you representing Iowa.
