Anderson repeats debate challenge

Letter to the Editor:

Vetting in Government

Well folks my campaign for 72nd District House of Representative has meet with complete silence with regard to my esteemed opponents, both in the primary and the general. I wrote a challenge to debate my Democratic rival in the primary, and wrote an email to my Republican rival in the general, its been two weeks and I haven’t heard any thing. This reminds me of a story by told by President Abraham Lincoln.

A young city man was watching a farmer plow his field and he noticed that every now and then a blue horsefly would buzz around the mule and land on it.

The farmer, would toil and apparently take notice of it. Finally the city man couldn’t stand it anymore and whooped to the farmer, exactly why he wouldn’t just swat the fly away? “Land sake’s, if it weren’t for this that fly, we’d hardly get any work done at all!” Mr. Lincoln was known to have a very effective cabinet precisely because of its querulous nature.

One of the main assets according to my esteemed Democratic opponent’s resume is because he’s lived here all of his life. Clanish-ment might work a hundred years ago, were your assured of your brother in law will vote for you but people today want to be an informed electorate. My email address is johnanderson512002@Yahoo.com. The telephone isn’t ringing, my email doesn’t have any messages from you.

Like Muhammad Ali, you might think I’m just too beautiful to be a serious contender. Meanwhile I’ve spoken to one of the Toledo City Council; I told them my idea of putting refugees in the defunct boys and girls home.

Heck, if my Democratic rival won’t debate me, I’ll just go on to the number one SNAFU associated with my Republican rival. Move over boys, there is a new dog in town!
