Throws support to Ohio Buckeye
Dear Editor,
I am viewing the Iowa caucuses from afar this year. This year I voted in a presidential primary.. There were lots of pages to the ballot. I voted for my choice and then I had to vote for 24 electors. My choice only had 7 committed so I had to vote for those of another candidate to complete the field.of 14.. One by one my choices have departed from the scene. But as of this date (March 11) my final choice is still in the race. I do hope he wins in Ohio. Most interesting for a Hawkeye to be rooting for a Buckeye.
As I have watched the race unfold I am quite surprised by some of the discussions which have taken place. I was quite surprised that Cruz won Iowa after announcing that one of the first things he would do would be to remove the ethanol mandate. But this should be no surprise as he is financially obligated to the oil industry in Texas and Oklahoma as well as the ultra right wing in Texas and Wall Street, all of whom have bought and paid for him so that he will do their bidding. Iowans screwing over Iowans by their vote.
I am glad that he will get down on his knees to pray each morning as he says, however I do not believe it is proper to ask forgiveness for what he is about to do during the course of the daily activities.
Ted Cruz: without a doubt intelligent; however, brainwashed by his daddy; in his study of the constitution missed the point that some of it was the result of compromise and consensus; unwilling to cross the aisle to talk to those “democrats” or even the moderate republicans and reach an agreement; has no connect with the greatest generation; has no connect with what this country is all about; is a “golden throated politician who lives a life of hipocracy” – paraphrased from a description of Elmer Gantry; charlatan; narcissus; egoist; and completely lacking of benovelence. I really enjoyed his chortling in South Carolina about the Iowans, whom he had informed he was going to do away with ethanol and yet they still “voted for me.”
Should he ever become president, I believe that we will finally find out what WWIII is all about. You, who support him, should learn the words to Kumbaya in order that you may gather around the campfire and enjoy each others company before the war begins. “Oh my, and the draft dodger supports this man.” But keep more money flowing to the military industrial complex and I’m sure all will be ok. Cruz – False Prophet!
