Letter to the Editor:

Bernie Sanders voted against the war in Iraq. He didn’t believe Bush and Cheney, and the war was unfunded.

Bernie warned against the repeal of Glass Stegall Act in 1999 because banks would have too much economic control. In 2008, Federal Reserve Chairman Greenspan admitted the repeal was a mistake – after millions lost their jobs, homes, and savings.

Bernie voted against tax breaks for the wealthy pointing out that good budgeting is not just dependent on what goes out but also what comes in.

Bernie voted against trade agreements because they ultimately hurt the American worker.

Bernie condemned the arrangement that let big banks pay back the bailout at 3% interest while charging credit card customers 20%.

He asked why the CEO’s who caused the recession still had jobs and earned $1,250,000 while middle class folks lost their jobs. He wanted to know why these crooks weren’t in jail.

“Our” government cannot control or punish those CEO’s because “our” government is really THEIR government. And they certainly dislike Bernie because he’s one congressman they can’t buy. He doesn’t look the other way when Congress, Republicans or Democrats, and Presidents exploit us. WE are his cause, Billionaires have owned this government for too long. I want My country back.

Chuck Grassley went to a Trump event. Chuck telling us he will caucus for Trump? Grassley will be 83 years old this year. How many people in Iowa has relation that are 83 and capable to be U.S. senator?
