Letter to Editor:

I hope Tama County citizens will take a close look at Rob Hogg, Cedar Rapids, who has served in the Iowa Senate since 2007 and recently declared his candidacy for the U.S. Senate, opposing 42-year incumbent, Sen. Chuck Grassley. Rob is highly respected, has a history of working well with fellow congress persons, and has always been very accessible to constituents. Rob has also long had concerns about environmental issues and for this reason, climate action will be the centerpiece of his campaign, along with targeting badly-needed reforms in campaign financing. He would be an excellent and very effective representative for Iowans.
