What an exquisite tribute!

Dennis Lamb, thanks for sharing your Father’s memory, for letting today’s Tama News-Herald readers know he died at the age of 39 years, beneath a corn picker, sixty-two years ago. A tragedy you long remember, a sadness you and your family handle each day.

To his credit, you learned to be honest, hard workers, respectful and supportive to the best of your abilities. He did not live to tell anyone “Goodbye!” He did live well to share with you the essence of being right toward others, to share as a good father, and after all these years to enrich the lives around you by sharing a manner of life that continues to be rewarding.

Thank you, Dennis, for pulling others into this beautiful tribute.
