More – Novie vs. D.A.

Letter to the Editor,

Responding Again to D.A. Claims and Questions

In the September 2014 issue of the AARP Bulletin in the article, “The VA Whistleblower”, it was written, “Since 2005, the inspector general had issued 18 reports documenting delays in care nationally.” Joni Ernest’s opponent was in Congress during that time and apparently did not have time to read the reports and act upon them until 2014 after the horse had left the barn! I believe Iowa deserves better representation than that in Congress! That is why I support her over her opponent for Iowa U.S. Senator in the forthcoming November 2014 elections.

Yes, D. A., the Republicans are more conservative than Democrats!

D.A. your comment about form VP Dick Cheney implies he and his wife gave birth to a Gay daughter. There is no truth in that accusation by you! There has been no scientific evidence that shows a person is “born gay”. God’s patent on mankind does not include Him making Gay persons! From observations a person eventually declares themselves “being gay” either vocally or by personal actions when they are adults. The parenting skills and behavior did not play a role in their child becoming gay!

On a Google search, I found an extensive file on Dick Cheney’s daughter. You and the readers should read, “Mary Chapin – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia”. Please, religious leaders, you should defend God and the Word of God rather letting people like D. A. make false accusations!

When I did a Google search on “republicans blame democrats for gays”, I expected to see prominent Republicans who made that claim. D. A., you were the only person listed in my Google search results!!

I was surprised to read your claim about “Log Cabin Republicans”. Yes. they do exist. However, D. A. forgot to mention there are also “Log Cabin Democrats”. He forgot to mention the Democratic National Committee has held annual fundraising events with the LGBT group for ten years! D. A. forgot to mention the Democratic National Committee appointed Earl Fowllkes to the DNC in September 2009; Earl is the only Black Gay person on the DNC. I assume he is representative of the “Log Cabin Democrats”.

Yes, the chief justice who voted for same-sex marriage in Iowa was appointed by the Governor. It was a bad Iowa Supreme Court decision that overturned the majority vote of Iowans. At least, two of the three justices were voted out of their position. If the chief justice position had been up for a vote at the time, I believe he would not be serving as chief justice today.

D.A. you need to remember that in 2015, Tom Harkin will be retired. Based on your false allegations and my research to respond to your questions, I hope the voters in Tama and Toledo will believe Joni Ernest is a far better candidate for U.S. Senator than her opponent. The readers still have many more political advertisements to see on television and receive in the mail! Please vote in November and please for Joni Ernest, the better representative of Iowan values!

I will only respond to D.A. as it relates to Joni Ernest and her opponent. I respond to no other questions or allegations. I do hope the readers will respond to his peculiar allegations such that God and His Word is defended vigorously. It is important to do so to assure American and Iowan values are held in the highest honor. So, preachers, priests, elders and deacons please be vigil!
