Letter to the Editor:

A few years ago David Hamilton from Grinnell (long-time financial advisor to the Men’s Golf League in Tama) was having a conversation with Jim Zabel when the subject of Tama arose.

Zabel immediately said: “Tama! I spent a week one night there in the Town Pump.”

There undoubtedly are people who can well recall that “week one night!”
