Milvoy E. Dvorak, 89, of Chelsea, IA passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at Compass Memorial Healthcare, Marengo. Under the care of Essence of Life Hospice

Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Burial will take place at Stayskal Cemetery, Chelsea. Milvoy was born June 29, 1928 to Emil and Alice (Kos) Dvorak in rural Chelsea. He attended country school #8 near Chelsea until 8th grade when he stayed home to work the farm. Milvoy work various jobs with farming being his main occupation working hard from dawn till dusk. On Dec. 4, 1948 he married Libbie Vesely at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.

Milvoy enjoyed gardening, dancing and the casino and his greatest joy was his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Libbie Dvorak of Chelsea; children, Linda (Steve) Titcomb of Toledo, Karen (Alan) Landuyt of Tama, Jerry (Sue) Dvorak, Donna Dvorak, and Kevin (Lori) Dvorak all of Chelsea; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Leonard Dvorak of Toledo and many more loving family and friends.

Milvoy is preceded in death by his parents.
