It was a dark gray Monday, as the sky was reflected in the colors of a shallow puddle that rippled with every drop of morning rain. This week’s Tama County Supervisors meeting started with the usual roads report stating that they are brush cutting, hydroseeding, hauling rock, blading, and doing other work between rain showers.
The supervisors approved the three-year contract for a new County Engineer, Jordan Primus.
Lucky Wife Wine Slushies was granted a temporary liquor license.
Northeast Iowa Food Bank gave a presentation asking for financial support.
The supervisors held a closed session to discuss strategy with counsel concerning possible litigation, but took no action.
Claims totaling $133,301.39 were approved.
