The Toledo City Council had a blink and you’d miss it meeting this week. If you kept your eyes peeled, you’d have seen STC Activities Director Chelsea Ahrens talk to the council. After some discussion, the council approved using part of the Mansfield Grant money for the South Baseball field fence at Toledo Heights Park.

The council also approved a Z-line quote for a new cemetery mower purchase.

The public works department reported doing a lot of mowing and work on some storm sewers.

Chief Dan Quigley with the Toledo Police Department reported that between July 27 and Aug. 9, they responded to 134 calls for service, made three arrests, and had one vehicle pursuit.

Toledo Economic Development reported on all of the projects they have in the works.
