The Meskwaki Annual Powwow Association has announced that the 110th Annual Meskwaki Powwow will now be held at the Meskwaki Casino grounds due to recent flooding.

In a video released to the Meskwaki Powwow Facebook page, Paige Youngbear-Brown used the phrase “Same great celebration, new location.”

The event will now utilize the Outdoor Arena at the Meskwaki Casino. A temporary powwow arena will be constructed on the west side of the Outdoor Arena, with vendors placed in the nearby fenced-in area and dancing on the adjacent grassy space.

The Meskwaki Powwow Association invites everyone to join in the celebration of culture, community, and tradition at its new location: the Meskwaki Casino, Aug. 6-9.
