TAMA COUNTY – The hard work, creativity, and dedication of Tama County 4-H members will be on display at the Iowa State Fair this August as many local youth were selected to represent the county through their outstanding exhibits and projects.

Following judging at the Tama County Fair on July 13, the following 4-H members earned the opportunity to advance to the Iowa State Fair where their exhibits will be judged and displayed in the 4-H Building from August 13-23.

Selection for the Iowa State Fair is a significant achievement and reflects months of learning, goal setting, and project work completed by these young people. The Iowa State Fair provides exhibitors with the opportunity to share their work with visitors from across the state and celebrate the accomplishments of Iowa’s youth. Participation at the state level is one of the highest honors a 4-H member can receive through the project judging process.

Congratulations to all Tama County 4-H members who participated in this year’s fair, and a special congratulations to those selected to advance to the Iowa State Fair. Your hard work and commitment have paid off, and we wish you the best of luck in Des Moines.
