A total of 14 Meskwaki Settlement School (MSS) graduating seniors received their diplomas during a commencement ceremony on Sunday, and the following awards were also presented.

Class of 2026 Academic Awards — Jaycene Pushetonequa and Lane Bear

Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel Scholarship and Governor’s Scholar Recognition Award — Jaycene Pushetonequa

Meskwaki Tribal Court Scholarship, Silver Cord Program and Iowa State Bar Association American Citizenship Award — Delia Yepez

The 14 graduates are Lane Bear, Maheengunse Bear, Cadell Buffalo, May Ann Buffalo, Devin Hoag, Ashlyn Kapayou, Daelia Lasley, Shayla Mauskemo, Jaycene Pushetonequa, Brennan Roberts, Tylan Sheridan, Jace Thompson, Dorian Velazquez and Delia Yepez.
