Tama County 4-H announces youth programs open to all

TOLEDO – From building with LEGO bricks to casting a fishing line, making breakfast while reading, and scoring goals on the soccer field, Tama County 4-H is bringing the fun this summer with a variety of engaging programs open to **all youth**. Families are invited to explore these handson opportunities – no 4-H membership required.

Tama County 4H’s summer program lineup includes activities designed to spark curiosity, build life skills, and create lasting memories for youth of all interests and experience levels.

“These programs are designed to help youth try something new, build confidence, and have fun while learning valuable life skills,” Jenny Hulme, Tama County Youth Coordinator with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, said. “We are excited to offer experiences that welcome all youth in the community.”

The fees for service will be used to offset direct expenses of the program. Full refunds will be issued if a camp is cancelled due to low registrations or weather. No refund will be given for participants that cancel less than 48 hours in advance or do not show up.

More information and registration are available through the Tama County Extension Office or website: https://www.extension.iastate.edu/tama/youth-programs.
