South Tama’s archery program kicked off another season on Saturday hosting the Second Annual Richard & Vicki Koehler Archery Tournament, bringing hundreds of archers to Tama-Toledo for a full day of bullseye and 3D competition.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural tournament, this year’s event again utilized two facilities–the Roundhouse for bullseye flights and the elementary gym for 3D–allowing for a smooth contest across multiple age divisions. Volunteers, coaches, and families filled both spaces throughout the day, making the tournament not only a competition but a community event.

The tournament continues to honor Richard and Vicki Koehler, longtime supporters of South Tama archery whose contributions helped build the foundation for the program’s ongoing growth.
