St. Patrick’s Church hosts national eucharistic pilgrimage

After mass on Sunday, Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church and the archdiocese of Dubuque hosted and participated in a Eucharistic procession around the church grounds.
Pilgrims who travel along the tour stopped and celebrated with local parishioners. In addition to the procession, time was set aside for adoration and a meal provided in the cafeteria.
Cat Campbell-Courier provided a mobile audio set up Out of the back of a ranger.
Eucharistic miracles were on display with posters set up throughout the halls of the church as the faithful walked between the different offerings of the tour.
The Eucharist’s stop in Tama concluded with a prayer healing service before departing to Marshalltown.

When asked what being included on this tour meant to him and his parish, Father Michael McAndrew smiled and answered with no hesitation.
“It means a chance for us to deepen our devotion to the Eucharist, and be part of this great national procession that’s bringing people closer to Christ,” he said.
