The Big Three Area Egg-Hunts

Children of Tama-Toledo gather every spring in the time-honored tradition of collecting eggs. 2025 will be no different with several area egg hunts scheduled for next weekend.
On Friday, April 18 at 2 PM Sunny Hill will host their Easter themed event. Snacks, prizes, a coloring contest, and even an appearance from the Easter bunny will take place at the care facility across from the high school. Kids up to 10 are invited to the egg hunt while older kids are still welcome to participate in the other festivities.
The next day, Saturday, April 19 at 10 AM Birkwood Village will host another egg hunt.The Easter bunny has made an appearance in years past, with the world’s favorite bunny being in town as it is, maybe you’ll run into him at Birkwood Village.
Later on Saturday, First Presbyterian Church is hosting their annual egg hunt at 1 PM. Located on the North Lawn of the courthouse, ages 2-12 are welcomed and invited to hunt for eggs. After verifying with the official schedule of the Easter Bunny, the Tama-Toledo News Chronicle can confirm that the oversized bunny will be in attendance.
