TOLEDO — The Tama County Historical Society and Genealogical Library wrapped up another successful year of educational events and programming this week, officially closing for the season on Nov. 27.

Both the museum and the genealogy library will remain closed for the winter season. The society will reopen for regular hours on March 4, 2025. A detailed list of upcoming speakers and special events will be posted on the society’s website (www.tamacountyhistory.org) in early 2025.

Officers for 2025 are as follows: President: Joan Hayward Helm; Vice President: Diane Caloud; Treasurer: Lori Johnson and Secretary: Jean Bolen.
