ELBERON — The Elberon Area Women’s Club held its April 15 meeting at the Elberon Community Center at 1:30 p.m. with four members and one guest present.

Secretary Amanda Nettesheim reported on the March meeting and Treasurer Doris Parizek gave the financial report.

A generous donation was given to the club by Garry Krutzfeldt.

The club had two scholarship applicants and decided to give to both. They are, Abbey Herman attending BellePlaine Community Schools and Lexi Pippert attending Benton Community Schools. Each were excellent students and very deserving.

The flowers for the planters around town were discussed. Guest Pat Pohlman suggested the club get them from the Benton Community FFA who will be selling various plants in May.
