Their shirts are blood red with a snake curling around the logo in the center. No, it isn’t a local biker gang on the prowl.

It is the new logo and merchandise available from Tama EMS. It was a team effort down at Tama Emergency Medical Services to come up with the fresh snake infested design behind the new logo.

Then it was only a natural next step for them to start selling merchandise that adorned the new exciting logo.

“We wanted to start doing more for the service and offer different things to the community.” Currently available are long and short sleeve T-shirts, Sweatshirt/crew necks, and Hoodies. Sizes are adults Medium through 3xl (they fit smaller) All T-shirts are $25 and Sweatshirt/crew necks and Hoodies are $35,” Tama EMS Administrator Jimmy Hicklin stated. “In the future, we hope together with the Fire Department and Police Department we can come up with more things as a team.”

Tama EMS is projected to have sold more than 100 items in the first three weeks. In the future, they are thinking of having kids sizes upon request and even stocking and ball caps.
