A local mailman was arrested and charged with simple assault last week after allegedly making an inappropriate advance toward a Toledo woman at her home in August.

According to court records, a female victim alleged that Terry Noe, 52, “lifted up her night dress” that she was wearing and asked her what she had on underneath it on Aug. 10. Toledo Officer Nick Ryan met with the alleged victim, who, along with her boyfriend, showed him the Ring doorbell camera video of the incident, which matched up with her recollection of events.

The alleged victim reported that the experience “scared her to where she had to retreat back into her residence.”

Noe was arrested on Sept. 18 and charged with simple assault, a simple misdemeanor. A trial has been set for Oct. 24, and a no-contact order has been issued between the defendant and the alleged victim.
