The Annual Tama-Toledo Chamber Car Show cruised on into town last Saturday. With Mr. Sun shining bright, everyone and their cousin decided to show up and see the awesome automobiles. From babies in Rat Rods to seniors with Packards, it was fun for all ages, with tunes blaring and fenders gleaming. More vibrant vehicles seemed to show up this year than any other as they not only filled 3rd Street but lined the lawn of the Civic Center.

The annual 50/50 raffle, which had $740 going towards the Tama Fire Department and $740 heading towards the chosen one, was won by a man named Larry Armstrong. However, Mr. Armstrong decided to donate $500 of his winnings back to the Tama Fire Department. Another winner was Todd Heberlin for his 1965 F-100, The F-100 was picked by a boy named Julian for the kids award.

The best motorcycle award went to a 2003 Texas Chopper. Best in show stock with a cash prize of $300 went to a 1970 Chevelle owned by Mike Basino. The best In show modified went to a 1941 Willys.
