MARSHALLTOWN – Tama County American Legion and Auxiliary and the Reinbeck ALA Unit sponsored the Tama County Picnic at the Iowa Veterans Home on Saturday, Aug. 5. The units brought meatballs, cheesy potatoes, sweet corn, baked beans, various salads, tomatoes, and an assortment of pies. IVH made the chicken, deviled eggs, and rolls. A total of 16 volunteers were present to help escort and serve the meal to 89 residents.
