Due to construction along US 30, the south intersection of Highway V18 and US 30 will close beginning April 5.

The closure is slated to last until June 16 as the Iowa Dept. of Transportation works to realign the intersection as part of the road widening project, according to the Tama County Secondary Roads Dept.

The north intersection will remain open.

Those heading to Chelsea from V18 can instead head west on US 30 and take E66.
