STC Kids Art on Tama’s Sidewalks

On Thursday june 16, STC elementary students took chalk in hand and got creative. THey drew many imaginative and fantastic pictures in front of local stores.
There were patriotic pictures with flags and eagles, underwater pictures with dolphins and mermaids, beautiful spring and summer flowers.
Also gracing the sidewalk were messages about being kind to others as well as many more excellent depictions.
Those people who saw their art were very impressed with the kids artistic talents, they really expressed themselves. After viewing all the artwork, the downtown committee will award a prize and a certificate of achievement awarded to the many winners.
This was a fun activity for everyone involved.
