Supporting Kids in Prevention (SKIP) is an initiative evolved from Community Partnership for Protecting Children, where the goals focus on the safety of children in their communities. The SKIP coalition is built upon partnerships with other services agencies and programs that serve children focusing on teen pregnancy prevention, substance abuse prevention, child abuse prevention and tobacco use prevention.
Strong families ensure that children and youth grow up to be capable adults and families need supportive communities to help them to be strong.
If you would like more information about the local SKIP coalition, please contact Tama County Public Health & Home Care at 641-484-4788 or follow us on our Tama County SKIP Facebook page
