Chamber board discusses Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival

There was plenty of news to share regarding the upcoming Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival at a recent Tama/Toledo Chamber of Commerce meeting as Chamber Coordinator Marlys Upah informed the board that T-shirts are currently being made. In addition, a website is being built that will have pictures of previous festivals, a schedule of events and contact information for those involved.

Four to six potential food vendors will be in attendance for the festival, and the board agreed to charge $100 per vendor.There will be a change in the route taken during the fireman’s parade that will be coordinated by the firemen.

The Pump will have two different bands performing the Friday of the parade with a break between performances.

Approved the Treasurer’s report.

Appointed Marlys Upah as Chamber Secretary.
