One of Tama-Toledo’s most popular fundraisers is returning later this month in an effort to help support foster children in Tama County.
The South Tama High School Student Council will be hosting a Trivia Night on Friday, Feb. 25. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. at the STC High School gym with trivia beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Teams will compete in groups of up to eight members and will challenge each other for local trivial supremacy.
A nacho bar and drinks will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own snacks. The cost for a team of up to eight adults is $80 which can be paid at the door. Student teams cost $40. The student council’s goal is to see at least 10 teams participate.
Registration forms are available online or at the South Tama High School main office.
Proceeds from the event will go towards an initiative the council is undertaking to distribute duffle bags and supplies to foster care children in Tama County through the Together We Rise program. This event is a family friendly, fun way to support the local community.
