Tama County Cattlemen to hold annual banquet

On Saturday February 26th, the Tama County Cattlemen will be hosting their annual banquet at the Gladbrook Memorial Building. The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a large prime rib dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Dinner will be catered by Spanky’s with meat that was graciously donated by Iowa Premium in Tama.

The evening’s entertainment will feature Charlie Peters, owner of the Peters Beef Genetics. Also this year, the Trophy Auction for awards to be given out at the 2022 Tama County Fair Beef Show will take place during the banquet.

Door prizes will be given out and the public is welcome to attend. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased by calling Kyle Herink at 319-269-2089 or Tyler Beenken at 319-610-3610. Tickets are also available at the door.
