The Iowa Democratic Party will hold the 2022 midterm caucus on Monday, February 7, 2022, beginning at 7:00 p.m. All caucus participants must be in line or signed in by 7:00 pm. in order to participate.

In Tama County the Democratic Caucus will be held in two locations: South Tama Elementary School in Tama and the North Tama High School in Traer.

The following precincts will meet at South Tama Elementary School located at 1611 Country Club Drive in Tama:

Carlton

Howard/Toledo

Carroll/ Oneida

Highland/Indian Village/Columbia

Tama/Otter Creek

York

West Richland

East Richland/Salt Creek

Indian Settlement

The following precincts will meet at North Tama High School located at 605 Walnut Street in Traer:

Lincoln/Grant

Buckingham/Perry

Geneseo/Clark

Spring Creek/Crystal

The precincts have changed since the last election so check your location.

The purpose of the midterm caucus is to discuss and adopt proposed resolutions to be added to the county platform, to elect delegates and alternates to the County Convention, and to elect precinct committee persons to the County Central Committee.

All Tama County Democrats are encouraged to attend.
