July 2

Jeremiah Walker, 40, West Branch, was arrested on Highway 30 F Avenue on a warrant. He was released July 2 on a miscellaneous transfer.

Dawson Davenport, 40, Tama, was arrested in the 2600 block of F Avenue on a charge of domestic abuse/assault.

July 3

Charles Lynn Poafpytbitty, 46, Toledo, was arrested in the 1008 South Prospect Drive on charges including multiple counts of identity theft and multiple counts of unauthorized credit card use and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thomas Mitchell Ohman, 41, Toledo, was arrested at 701 East High Street on charges including domestic abuse/assault and obstruction of emergency communication. He was released July 4 on his own recognizance.

Joe Shoniber, 28, Waterloo, was arrested at North State Highway 21/State Highway in Dysart on a warrant. He was released July 4 after pleading guilty.

July 4

Thomas Mitchell Ohman, 41, Toledo, was arrested at 701 East High Street for violating a non contact order. He was released July 5 on his own recognizance.

July 5

Flores Adolfo Angel Pecina, 19, Tama, was arrested in the 1400 block of McClellan Street for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).

July 6

Ryan Alan Panosh, 37, Tama, was arrested on a warrant for charges including child endangerment (bodily injury), domestic assault impeding air and blood flow, three counts of child endangerment (no bodily injury), possession of controlled substances.

July 7

Jeremy Steven Smith, 39, Belle Plaine, was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for failure to appear in court and for violation of a conditional pretrial release.

Josuha Wayne Crowe, 32, Marshalltown, was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on two counts for failure to appear in court and for trespassing, a first offense.

Austin James Hill, 33, West Des Moines, was arrested by the Meskwaki Tribal Police Department on charges of OWI-3rd Offense, driving while barred, failure to obey a stop or yield sign and on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Hill was released on July 8 by order of the court.

July 8

Anthony James Reitinger, 29, Tama, was arrested by the Tama Police Department on charges of eluding law enforcement with speed in excess of 25 mph, false report of an indictable offense to a public entity, possession of drug paraphenalia, failure to obey stop/yield signs and failure to provide proof of financial liability. Reitinger was released on July 10 by posting a $5,000 bond.

Annette Valles, 20, Toledo, was arrested by the Meskwaki Tribal Police Department on charges OWI-1st offense, speeding and driving under suspension.

July 10

Aung Lwin Win, 37, Marshalltown, was arrested by the Meskwaki Tribal Police Department on charges of OWI-1st offense and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. Win was released on his own recognizance on July 10.

Merlin Forrest Choneska Jr., 46, Tama, was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on charges of domestic abuse assault-2nd offense and child endangerment. Choneska Jr. was released on his own recognizance on July 11.

Elora Adriana Contreras, 25, Toledo, was arrested by the Toledo Police Department on charges of child endangerment. Contreras was given a pre-trial release on July 12.

Hectory Garcia Lizarde, 27, Marshalltown, was arrested by the Meskwaki Police Department on charges of driving while barred, driving with a suspended license and failure to provide proof of financial liability. Lizarde was released on his own recognizance on July 11.

July 11

Kayla Angel Devenney, 24, Cedar Rapids, was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

July 12

Gregory Curtis Newsome Jr., 29, Tama, was arrested by the Toledo Police Department on charges of possession of drug paraphenalia and possession of a controlled substance. Newsome was released July 12 on bond.

Anthony Ray Arp, 29, Toledo, was arrested by the Toledo Police Department on charges of theft-5th degree (less than $300), possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphenalia. Arp was released on his own recognizance on July 13.

Dale Eugene Patterson, 58, Toledo, was arrested by the Toledo Police Department on a warrant filed by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department for a charge of 2nd degree burglary.

July 13

Marlena Inez Choneska, 45, Toledo, was arrested by the Toledo Police Department on a charge of violating a no contact order and contempt of court.
