County Administration Building to reopen Jan. 25

County officials announced Monday that the Tama County Administration Building, 104 West State Street, Toledo, will re-open their offices to the public on Monday January 25th.

The Administration Building, which houses the county treasurer’s office, auditor’s office, driver’s license station, recorder’s office and assessor’s office, has been closed to the public for in-person services since Nov. 24.

In an effort to continue to protect the health of county residents and employees, face coverings and social distancing will be required by all who enter the Administration Building once it opens on Jan. 25. Face coverings will be required to fit properly over the nose and mouth.

One person per transaction is requested. The driver’s license station will continue to serve customers by appointment only. Please contact the driver’s license station at (641) 484-3141 Ext. 1 to schedule an appointment.

Payments to the county can still be made online, by mail, or in the drop box, located in front of the building.
