Board of Supervisors July 6 meeting
Wes Ray, County Assessor presented to the Board of Supervisors regarding homestead/military credit approvals and removals on Monday, July 6. Ray recommended a military credit on Parcel 07-11-176-007 be removed as the owner has no record of military service. The board voted in favor of the removal.
In other business:
•Dee Shope was re-appointed for a four year term to the Tama Public Library Board.
•The board voted in favor to close Highway V18 south of the railroad for the Chelsea Car Show on July 25 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
•Claims in the amount of $211,199.97 were approved
