A genealogical workshop sponsored by the Conestoga Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will be held Saturday, June 15, at the Tama County Museum, 200 N. Broadway, Toledo.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in working on family lines and exploring their family tree. “Basics of Genealogy” and “What Else is in the Courthouse” will be presented by Jeanette Shannon and Marlys Ankrum. DAR members will be available to provide individual assistance following the presentation.

Participants should bring in copies of any useful data about your family, such as birth, marriage and death certificates, Bible records, baptismal certificates, service records, land probate, and will records, census records and obituaries. There will be some access to computers.
