South Tama teacher Lon Wilkerson, chair of the American Heart Association drive, Principal Jim Bugge and Mary Sherwood, assistant principal, all seemed to welcome the annual pie in the face from the top fund raisers for the American Heart Association Jump Rope for Heart event. Even with some reminders of the great prizes they won, Principal Bugge was unable to dissuade Tabby Kauten, 5th grade, and Holden Schirmer, 1st grade, from performing the honors.
