Business Route 30 through Toledo and on to Tama will officially open Saturday morning, Aug. 13, with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.

The ceremony led by Toledo city officials will take place at the overpass exit located about one mile west of Toledo.

Persons attending are advised to use the now Business 30 from Toledo Heights west to reach the event.

Business Route 30 was created as the result of the Tama-Toledo U.S. 30 Expressway bypass.

With completion of the replacement of a bridge over Mud Creek in Tama, the Business Route is now open from east of Tama to west of Toledo.
