“Marble Lady”program on Wed. at Historical Musuem

Playing marbles? If that brings back old memories, or if you are too young and just want to find out more about this simple game, then you are invited to the next meeting of the Tama County Historical and Genealogical Society at 7 p.m., Wednesday June 1, at the museum in Toledo.

Cathy Runyan-Svacina, a world-renowned marble collector and authority on the subject, will be here from Kansas City to interest and entertain us.

Cathy is no stranger to this area as she is the daughter-in-law of the late Mark and Delight Svacina of Tama.

The program is free and open to the public.
