TAMA NEWS-HERALD –

The Tama County Historical Society, Museum and Genealogy will be holding their next meeting on Wednesday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at the Tama County Museum. It is not necessary to be a member of the association to attend the meeting. The public is invited.

The program will be on Tama County Pioneer Cemeteries. There are 27 pioneer cemeteries in Tama County.

The program will be given by Joyce Wiese, President of the Tama County Pioneer Cemetery Association.

Information will be given on the cemeteries as well as some history of the prominent residents buried in these cemeteries.
